LioniX International is moving to a new purpose-built facility in Enschede, The Netherlands

As the demand for our advanced photonic integrated circuits and photonic modules continues to grow, we are moving to a new location that will enable us to further strengthen our production and innovation capabilities.

This new facility, set to be ready to welcome us in 2026, is not just about space—it’s about safeguarding the future of photonics and taking an important step forward in the growth and development of LioniX and the broader ecosystem.

Our new home is designed not just for work, but for well-being. From spacious new offices to a state-of-the-art lab and more dedicated spaces to relax and recharge, we’re giving our team the tools they need to excel.

“This move marks an exciting next phase in our 23-year history,” says our CTO, Ronald Dekker. “It reflects not only our growth as a company but also our commitment to further supporting the photonics ecosystem.”

This strategic step reaffirms our position as a leader in integrated photonics and ensures we are fully equipped to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
