LioniX International quantum partner QuiX leaps from strength to strength
LioniX International TriPleX™ waveguides are at the heart of quantum photonic processors sold to research institutions across Europe.
The revolutionary processors designed by LioniX International partner QuiX BV are the largest of their kind in the world. They use ultra-low loss TriPleX™ silicon nitride waveguides to enable a reconfigurable network able to carry out processes using single photons.
After launching their processor in December 2020, the company quickly secured orders from research institutions in France and the UK. The latest research group to buy into unique capabilities of the QuiX technology are at the University of Paderborn in Germany.
Amidst an increasing national and international focus on the development of quantum technology, QuiX is gaining attention as a company with an important role to play. In June this year they featured in the EE Times “Silicon 100: Startups worth watching in 2021”.
